In education, he obtained LL-B (Hons.), L.L-M degree from Rajshahi University. His home district is Gaibandha. Prior to this station he was working in Nilphamari, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Lalmonirhat, Pabna, Dhaka, Jhenaidah, Sherpur, Brahmanbaria, Sylhet district in various positions during his working life. He received training in the Judicial Administration Training Institute, Australia and India both in the country and abroad.
